После того, как отправление пересекло границы Китая, отслеживать его статус будет удобнее уже через сервисы почтовых операторов страны адресата (Почту России, Укрпочту, Казпочту и т.д.).

Разбираться на каком из сайтов можно отследить свое почтовое отправление из Китая дело неблагодарное. Те более, что посылка может быть отправлена не только China Post, а одним из «нестандартных способов», т.е. частным перевозчиком. Это также весьма популярный способ доставки на сегодняшний день. Баолай, ZTO, Yanwen Express – и это далеко не все, постоянно появляются новые (как правило вместе с номером для отслеживания продавец присылает и название службы доставки, но не всегда).

А в правом верхнем углу находится ссылка на страницу с расширенной формой, где можно уточнить страну назначения посылки. А также прочитать ответы на наиболее часто задаваемые вопросы. Введите номер, дождитесь пока система определит службу доставки. Уточните страну назначения, если она введена неправильно и нажмите «отследить». Если кнопка неактивна, значит тип трек-номера не распознан. Проверьте его еще раз.

Типичные примеры статусов почтовых отправлений

China Post использует следующие статусы для обозначения этапов прохождения международной посылкой долгого пути к месту назначения:

• Collection – отправление оформлено и принято в почтовом отделении Китая.
• Opening – отправление поступило на сортировочный пункт.
• Dispatching – отправление находится на стадии обработки и подготовки к пересылке за пределы страны.
• Departure from outward office of exchange – таможенное оформление пройдено.
• NULL – обозначение различного рода промежуточных статусов, не переведенных на английский язык. После этой записи в статусе обычно стоит несколько китайских иероглифов. Причина кроется в том, что посылки из Китая проходят внутри страны несколько дополнительных процедур, не принятых в других государствах. Именно поэтому у данных статусов нет перевода на английский язык, и отображаются они только на сайтах китайских сервисов для отслеживания либо в специальных программах – таких, как TrackChecker.

В статусах с обозначением NULL используются также трехбуквенные кодировки, обозначающие название международных аэропортов, в которые доставляются посылки для осуществления их дальнейшей транспортировки. Примеры таких аббревиатур можно легко найти, например,  на сайте.

Последние символы статуса обозначают сокращенное название страны назначения, например: RU – Россия, UA – Украина и т.д.

Если вас смущают иероглифы, и вы хотели бы точно узнать статус отправления, просто воспользуйтесь электронным переводчиком.

Иногда случается, что почтовое отправление уже получило статус, свидетельствующий о его экспорте, однако через некоторое время с помощью функции отслеживания можно увидеть, что оно вновь вернулось на сортировочный пункт. Волноваться в этом случае не стоит, просто посылка не была отправлена в планируемый срок и теперь ожидает следующей почтовой партии.

Why Can’t I Track My China Post Package?

There are several possible reasons for these issues:

1. Your China Post package hasn’t been shipped
2. China Post’s parcel tracking hasn’t been updated. Normally, the tracking information is only available after 2-3 days
3. Your type of package is not eligible for China Post’s tracking service
4. Only the merchant has the right to track packages from China
5. Your China Post tracking number is fake or has expired. In this case, you can check again after a week or contact the merchant for an explanation.

If the China Post tracking result shows as “Logistics Order Created or “Order Information Received” for several days with no further updates, it is because the merchant hasn’t shipped your package or the package hasn’t been collected yet. You should urge the merchant to send it as soon as possible. If your China Post tracking status still doesn’t change after a week, it might be a scam or fraud. You can consider filing a report to get a refund in time.
 

Influence of COVID-19 on parcel delivery from China

The number of packages reduced during the peak period of the pandemic. People were concerned that they might be able to contract the coronavirus from packages and stopped using delivery services. The second negative factor is delays in parcel delivery in sorting centers and at the customs because of quarantine measures. Post offices restricted reception and delivery of parcels, offices in the quarantine zones were temporary closed, which also had its negative impact on shipment terms. The third factor that decreased the volume of package delivery from China is closing down online stores for the quarantine period and making it impossible to send goods because of disruption in the work of post offices.

Eventually, the virus has been studied in detail. Possibilities to contract the disease via packages haven’t been proved scientifically. As a result, people stopped being concerned to receive and send parcels. Whole countries and separate cities started going out of the quarantine. Transport flows started to restore, which made it possible to return to the usual schedule of people’s lives and the global system of international shipment. By the end of 2020 there appeared vaccines against the coronavirus. Many countries started their national programs of vaccinating their population. This factor has also had a positive effect on the transportation market.

How Do I Change the Shipping Address for China Post?

Unfortunately, China Post is unable to change your shipping address once the parcel has been shipped. If your parcel hasn’t been shipped, you can always contact your seller to revise your shipping address before they hand it to China Post.
 

To know where your parcel is, go to the China Post parcel tracking page and fill in your China Post parcel tracking number. If no status is shown, it is likely that the seller has yet to ship it. Otherwise, you are unable to change your address anymore.
 

In this case, you have to check your parcel status with China Post often in order to not miss it. Once it arrives in your country, you can reach out to the local post to ask them to deliver it to your new address. This service is available in some countries but they may charge additional fees. Alternatively, you can request for China Post’s local warehouse address and collect the parcel personally.
 

What can I do if tracking result shows “Customs Rejected” or “Safety Check Rejected”?

People sometimes will see tracking status as “Safety Check Rejected” or “Customs rejected” or “Rejected”. This is usually caused by following two reasons:

The forbidden item in the parcel such has cell phone,ipad,speaker etc(Check China Post forbidden item list here). If your parcel has item in the forbidden list, you can not get the goods anymore. You must open dispute to seller and claim refund. Occasionally parcel might also be rejected by machine mistake. This often happens to cell phone cases, toys etc which looks like some forbidden item.

If the rejection has happened by mistake. It could be resubmitted to safety check point again after a period of time. The rejection-resubmit procedure might repeat many times. So if the parcel is rejected by mistake, the parcel has good chance to arrive in future, but it will still be seriously delayed.

If you believe your parcel contains nothing from China Post forbidden item list, you can wait 2 to 5 more weeks (but never pass ebay/aliexpress/amazon buyer protection due date). If your buyer protection is expiring and your parcel has not arrived, you should open dispute for lost parcel ASAP.

Common FAQs

Q: What is the reason of no tracking information for my parcel?A: In general, the tracking information for a parcel needs one or two days to update after the carrier getting it. You’d better wait one or two days after it’s shipped and then track its status. For no tracking records of your tracking number, it may be caused because the sender hasn’t sent it. Or, you typed the numbers wrongly. You’d better contact the sender to make sure the parcel has been sent and you typed the correct number. If you still can’t get any result, better contact the sender to ask if it’s traceable. For example: tracking number composed of 9 digits only belongs to China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus. It couldn’t be tracked or only can be tracked when it’s in China.
Q: In the last many days I did not get any update. Where is my parcel? Is it lost on the way?

A : No more update doesn’t mean lost. There are many situations about this:

1. It may couldn’t be tracked after it leaves the first station of China because it’s China Post Ordinary Packet. Tracking number formats of China Post Ordinary Packet: UC123456789CN，123456789 . Most of the retailers on eBay, Wish, or Aliexpress like to use this way to send cheap price items.

2. It couldn’t be tracked after it leaves China. This also happens for China Post ordinary packet. 

3. If the parcel has been exported, the shipping status will not be updated until the parcel arrives in the destination country. This period may last for 3-60 days depending on different shipping methods. 

Q: My parcel was stuck at somewhere for some days. Could you update the information?

После ввода номера в специальную графу на сайте в большинстве случаев выдаются только главные пункты. Они меняются после каждого перемещения и фиксации посылки на пути к заказчику. К основным статусам относятся:

1. Collection/Acceptance – отправление принято почтовым отделением службы доставки и ожидает пересылки.
2. Opening – оповещает о прибытии в сортировочный центр или место международного обмена.
3. Dispatching – обработка и запаковка посылок и подготовка к перевозке в другую страну.
4. Departure – означает, что отправка прошла таможню и самолет вылетел к месту назначения.

Существует группа подстатусов, объединенных общим названием NULL. Но это не название статусов, а ошибка отображения: китайское название не переводится на английский и записывается так.

NULL, 出口 , PEK, RU – статус говорит о том, что отправление находится в Пекине и готовится к вылету. Последние две буквы – код страны, куда едет посылка. Не всегда услуги доставки производятся напрямую, и любые перемещения будут отражаться в транзитном статусе: NULL, 总包, FRA, RU. Расшифровки обозначений аэропортов находятся на сайте поиска международных кодов – IATA. В поле вводится 3 буквы кода и сайт выдает название аэропорта и город.

Официальными создателями логистических компаний и сторонними программистами разработано большое количество tracking-сайтов. Их интерфейс понятен логически, даже если они не на русском языке. Пока посылка находится в почтовом отделении Китая, и не покинула страну¸ то желательно пользоваться следующими сайтами зарубежных разработчиков:
